NYC-based composer Melissa Grey wrote Psychodrama: 13 Variations for the shower sequence from Alfred Hitchcock’s film Psycho. Variation I, depicted here, uses music along with field recordings of a threatened waterway, “radio” and sonic patterns­ from early horror cinema.
