Julia Galbenu, former A\J editorial intern and recent Oxford grad, explains the factors from which biodiversity in an area is caluated. Julia discusses species richness and evenness and their relationship to the term biodiversity.

Julia is a Biology graduate from Oxford University and a former A\J volunteer. She is now volunteering in India where she teaches Environmental Science.
