WRITE FOR US
Alternatives issues specific calls for submissions in the lead-up to most of its issues. To receive the calls, sign up for our newsletter or monitor the 'What's New' section of the homepage.
We do welcome off-theme submission pitches year-round, but please understand that we receive many more submissions than we can publish. To improve your chances, your story should: break new ground; explore new theories, ideas or concepts; or further or deepen established knowledge. Alternatives aims for forward-focused stories that not only expose issues of concern, but add to the search for solutions.
To submit, please refer to our Contributor's Guidelines.
