The basic climate change facts are simple enough. Concentrations of greenhouse gases in the global atmosphere are much higher than they used to be. These concentrations are still rising as we burn our way through the global stock of fossil fuels. And the new atmospheric chemistry will bring changes in climate systems.
The precise nature of these changes and of secondary effects on weather patterns, ice caps, ocean currents, microscopic biology, etc., is beyond confident prediction. So is the timing and severity of these effects. ...
