Lucy Binfield

Originally from the UK, I began my PhD studies at the University of British Columbia in September 2020 after living for five years in China and getting inspired by the power, beauty and versatility of bamboo. My research looks at the socio-economic impact of specific instances of bamboo industry development initiatives in the Global South.
